NBC was established in 1934 with the aim of producing bolting screens domestically. Since then, we have striven to develop new technologies and applications and to acquire new customers. We have grown from our humble beginnings as a simple textile manufacturer to become a world-leading mesh product manufacturer by expanding the market for our goods, and last year celebrated the 75th anniversary of our foundation.
We took this opportunity to change the company name from NBC Inc. to NBC Meshtec Inc. on October 1, 2009 to reflect the company's technology-oriented, mesh-based nature, and will seek further advancement by adding unique high value to mesh technologies.

In the area of technology, we have developed and launched Cufitec material, created by combining a newly discovered antivirus material and NBC's proprietary Nafitec^® technology. With this technology, viruses become firmly attached when they come into contact with the surface of a substrate, and 99.9999% of them are deactivated (i.e., their infectious properties are eliminated) within a few tens of minutes. We have developed a mask as the first product to use this function, and will seek to create a variety of related products in the future to enhance living comfort, including items such as protective clothing, sheets and curtains.

The social and business environments surrounding us change constantly. We will continue to grow and contribute to society by adapting flexibly to these developments. In addition to the mesh technology expertise we have accumulated over a period of 75 years, we will also seek to embody the unlimited possibilities of mesh materials by utilizing our unique value-creating technologies.
