NBC has been offering filters that aid
in environmental purification since
its foundation, and has always been aware of its responsibility towards
environmental protection in all its business operations. Today,
environmental protection is a major global issue, and to remain a
responsible corporate citizen, we must continue to make every effort
in
this field.
The global environment is mankind's most precious asset, and its
protection
and bestowing to future generations is our highest duty. To help
fulfill
this duty, we have established the "Environment Mission" and "Environment
Principles" based on our corporate polity: "Sincerity is
the top-priority"
and "Serve the public." Every employee of NBC should act
in accordance with
the principles specified below in an effort to resolve the various
environmental problems that may occur during the company's operations.
|
 |
 |
| Environmental issues affect and must
be faced by everyone. We are aware
that environmental protection is an important challenge that we must
meet
as a corporate citizen. In addition to offering environmental protection
materials such as filters and filter clothes, we make efforts towards
environmental protection with the slogan: "Offer a clean, friendly,
and
safe environment both for people and nature." |

 |
 |
| 1. |
Achieve the goal of all of our offices, home
and abroad, joining hands,
and the entire group, in one united body, contributing to environmental
protection. |
 |
| 2. |
Observe the guidelines relating to the environment
that are separate
from Japanese and foreign laws, regulations, and ordinances, and observe
agreements with official organizations. |
 |
| 3. |
Coordinate the environmental management system
with the administration
system and carry out business operations in an environmentally friendly manner. |
 |
| 4. |
Always consider the environment when carrying
out any phase of
operations: the development of new technologies/products, the procurement
of materials, production, marketing, or waste disposal. |
 |
| 5. |
Reduce the generation of industrial waste from
production activities. In
addition, check whether the disposal of waste may pollute the environment,
and take any necessary technical measures to avoid this occurring. |
 |
| 6. |
Conduct an environmental impact evaluation of
the business operations to
encourage the reduction of environmental impact and the efficient
utilization of resources and energy. |
 |
| 7. |
Make information on environmental education
programs and meetings
accessible to everyone at the company, to ensure that the management and
all employees are familiar with the Environmental Mission and the
Environmental Principles, and that they become more aware of environmental
issues. |
 |
| 8. |
Take part in environmental
protection activities as a member of the
community, and work to ensure the safety and quality of life of people in
the community. |
